About me

My name is Georg Fischer, which is quite a common name in Germany. To avoid confusion, I often use my second and third names, Kurt and Johannes in addition. I am an associate researcher with the Resilient Sensor Technologies group at the Fraunhofer Ernst-Mach-Institute (EMI) in Freiburg, Germany. My primary research interests lie in signal processing and measurement technology. Specifically, I focus on indoor localization, where we utilize multiple technologies, such as acoustic or UWB (Ultra-Wideband), in sensor array configurations to develop precise and cost-effective solutions.
